Overview of School PBX Calling Features
The School PBX solution provides users with a range of professional & easy-to-use corporate PBX calling features that were previously available only with costly circuit-switched systems. Built-in hosted PBX calling features include the following:
Caller ID
Displays the name and number of the caller.
Blind and supervised call transfer
Transfer incoming calls to other users in the system.
Find me/follow me
Forward incoming calls based on the caller’s prefix and the user’s availability status.
Call Recording
School PBX administrators can record and store user, group & conference calls.
Call forwarding & music on hold
Have incoming calls forwarded to another extension, an external telephone number, or voice mail.
Call waiting & call park
Place the conversation on hold at one user’s extension and resume it from another user’s extension.
Hunt group & group paging
Incoming calls to a hunt group dial in to members’ extensions based on their priority weights in the group. Incoming calls to a paging group are automatically picked up by members’ phones.
